Job summary

Wisconsin Public Service Corporation, part of WEC Energy Group, seeks a RICE Engineer for our RICE power generation sites in Kronenwetter, WI and other locations in WI/MI. This role spans Associate/Engineer/Senior tracks with experience as the driver.

You will design, analyze, and optimize plant systems, lead root-cause analyses, manage equipment data, and support budgeting and project execution. Travel is required, and qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Engineering and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Experience with RICE operations preferred.
Experience with power generation asset operations preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare complex engineering designs, specifications, and project schedules for RICE projects.
Lead operations and data analysis and make recommendations.
Maintain and manage equipment information databases.
Assist/lead Root Cause Analysis activities.
Ensure compliance with codes, standards and regulations; update drawings and records.
Provide system knowledge to troubleshoot and improve performance.
Use performance monitoring tools and conduct calculations and evaluations.
Participate in budgeting for capital projects and O&M; select project alternatives.
Coordinate RFP processes and contract administration for complex projects.
Support day-to-day operations and planned outages; travel required.
