WEC Energy Group is seeking a RICE Engineering Specialist to support its power generation sites in Kronenwetter, WI; Union Grove, WI; Negaunee, MI; or Pelkie, MI. This position is part of a job family including Associate Engineering Specialist and Senior Engineering Specialist, with progression based on experience.

The role focuses on engineering design, project schedules, material evaluation, and data-driven problem solving, including Root Cause Analyses and database maintenance for equipment

Qualifications

• Prepare complex engineering designs and material specifications.
• Lead operations and statistical data analysis.
• Maintain and manage equipment information databases.
• Assist/lead Root Cause Analysis activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex engineering designs, construction and material specifications and project schedules, design and implementation of material and equipment evaluation methods, preparation of feasibility studies and/or cost-benefit analyses of proposed projects and/or review of third party construction plans.
• Lead operations and statistical data analysis and makes recommendations based on best available information.
• Maintain and manage equipment information database systems.
• Assists/Leads complex Root Cause Analysis activities and performs peer checks on Root Cause Analyses.
• Knowledgeable in applicable fields and standards.
