Job summary

BrightStars is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor for their early childhood program in Johnston, RI. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing regulations, and support teaching staff while engaging with families.

The position requires an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, fluency in both Spanish and English, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience. Additional benefits include a 401(k), employee discount, paid time off, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or administrative experience in a licensed childcare center.
• Associate Degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Active enrollment in the RI workforce registry (RISES) required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with RI DHS Child Care Licensing Regulations.
• Manage daily opening procedures and staff schedules.
• Supervise and mentor teaching staff.
