The University of Washington invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor (WOT) in Rheumatology. The position is based at UW Medical Center in Seattle and includes outpatient duties, teaching residents and fellows, and mentoring researchers.

Candidates should have an MD/DO, rheumatology board eligibility/certification, and WA licensure eligibility, with a track record of securing extramural funding. Start date anticipated July 1, 2027; salary range noted below.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree or foreign equivalent required.
• Board certification or eligibility in rheumatology (or foreign equivalent) required.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Washington state required.
• Proven track record of securing extramural funding is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead a nationally recognized research program in the pathogenesis of arthritis or other rheumatic diseases.
• Provide outpatient attending duties and teach residents and fellows.
• Mentor research scientists and postdoctoral fellows in the laboratory.
• Engage in teaching, research, and service as part of University of Washington faculty.
