Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics Rheumatology seeks a dedicated Prior Authorization & Scheduling Coordinator to support rheumatology and infusion scheduling. This full-time, in-person role based in Hudson/Woodbury involves coordinating authorizations and patient scheduling for infusion procedures, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

You will liaison between providers and patients, ensure insurance requirements are met, and help keep workflows efficient.

Qualifications

• 2 years prior authorization experience
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Actual starting pay varies by education, skills and experience

Responsibilities

• Manage prior authorizations and scheduling for rheumatology and infusion patients
• Provide communication and liaison between providers and patients
• Obtain benefit, referral and/or authorization requirements per insurance guidelines
• Follow up with patient inquiries and coordinate with providers/insurance
• Maintain knowledge of health plan requirements and networks
• Collaborate with providers, clinical staff and insurance companies to ensure efficient workflow
