Job summary

Optimum is partnering with a southern West Virginia clinic to recruit a skilled Rheumatologist to join their team. The position offers a flexible 4- or 5-day schedule, no call requirements, and a telemedicine-friendly hybrid coverage model with robust clinical support.

The ideal candidate is board-certified in rheumatology and will provide comprehensive outpatient care, supported by APPs and full office staff.

Qualifications

• Board-certified rheumatologist with an active license in good standing.
• Experience in outpatient rheumatology practice preferred.
• Ability to work in a telemedicine-friendly hybrid model.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive rheumatology care to patients in a hospital-affiliated clinic.
• Collaborate with APPs and office staff to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in telemedicine visits and in-person clinics as scheduled.
