Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of service and board certified or board eligible.
• Medical Doctor degree with board certification or eligibility, or Doctor of Osteopathy with board certification or eligibility.
• DEA license required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients according to medical staff approved protocol and acceptable standards of practice.
• Provides medical services and health education to patients and family members.
• Performs necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Interprets information gathered during the diagnostic process and formulates appropriate plan of care.
• Provides quality care for patient, demonstrates appropriate health, safety, and aseptic practices.
• Meets regularly with the care team for consultation and collaboration as well as with personnel to promote quality care for patients.
• Maintains patient records and accurate information.
