Mason City, Iowa, Rheumatologist Job

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board-certified or truly board-eligible rheumatologist for a permanent outpatient position.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with very minimal call.
• Patient load: approximately 16-20 patients per day.
• Level 3 trauma center with an annual ER volume of 30,000.
• EMR: Cerner (hybrid with paper chart), transitioning to EPIC in 2024.
• Practice team includes 1 ARNP and 1 physician, with 1:1 clinical support.
• Patient age demographic: 18+.
• Credibility timeframe: 60-90 days.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Total package: $360,000 annually, including a base salary of $280,000, a $50,000 commencement bonus, and $30,000/year loan repayment.
• 34 days of paid time off annually.
• Annual CME allowance of $3,000.
