Overview

JOB SPECIFICS:

• OSF Medical Group in Bloomington, Illinois, is seeking a Rheumatologist to join our Multispecialty Services.
• The Rheumatology practice is supported by two RNs. Opportunities include research, clinical trials, and supported studies.
• The clinic operates from 8:00 to 4:30, Monday through Friday.
• Nurse triage manages after-hours calls.
• Outpatient infusion therapy is available at the state-of-the-art OSF Cancer Center, along with x-ray and onsite lab services.
• Applicants must be board certified in both internal medicine and rheumatology. Newly trained rheumatology fellows will be considered if they achieve board certification within a few years for continued employment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
• Licensed to prescribe narcotics by the DEA and Illinois, if applicable.
• Board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty(s). Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and privileges.
• Eligible to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal programs.
• Qualified for OSF's professional malpractice and liability coverage programs.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned with patient preferences, goals, and needs.
