New Coastal Rheumatology Position minutes from the Beach!

Private group practice with great camaraderie!

Facility Information:

• Brand new office space located near the university campus.
• New facility features a large cooking hood for nutrition classes.
• Each pod has 3 exam rooms and extender stations.
• Includes an infusion room, diagnostic/radiology area, large waiting room, and office space for physicians.
• Initially, rheumatology will be in the new space with internal medicine joining later.
• Facility equipped with a bone densitometer, infusion therapy, and potential for clinical trials.

Position Details:

• Physicians should have a primary interest in rheumatology, with optional minor interest in academics; options for an all-academic or 100% clinical role are available.
• Joining a group of 4 other rheumatologists.
• Patient load of 16-20 patients per day.
• Work schedule: 4 days a week, approximately 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with 1 day off.
• Work in a brand new facility.
• Opportunity to teach with IM and EM residents rotating through the practice.
• Option to pursue an adjunct professorship.
• Call schedule: 1-4 or 1-5.
• EMR system: Athena.
• Collaborations with 3 orthopedic groups.
• A new nurse practitioner has recently been hired for rheumatology.
