Rheumatology Physician at Healthcare Recruitment Counselors

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Rheumatologist to join our medical team in Amarillo, TX. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, analytical abilities, and be willing to perform necessary procedures. Our practice emphasizes a comprehensive approach to rheumatology, engaging in research and providing extensive patient care.

We are looking for a full-time Rheumatologist in Amarillo, TX, who is compassionate, personable, and effective in communication with patients and staff. The candidate should have exceptional active listening skills, strong leadership qualities, self-confidence, and excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. The role involves performing procedures as needed, often under ultrasound guidance with assistance from an endocrinologist. Our office provides digital imaging, in-house labs including autoimmune testing, bone density scans, musculoskeletal ultrasound (diagnostic and interventional), in-house infusion services, and participation in medical research.

Duties :

• Take initial patient histories and perform physical examinations, reviewing diagnoses, prognosis, medications, procedures, and clinical course.
• Develop, document, and communicate care plans, ensuring complete screening and patient preparation.
• Write orders for medications, laboratory tests, and diagnostics.
• Interpret laboratory and test results.
• Formulate diagnosis and treatment/care plans.
• Perform procedures as needed.
• Consult with physicians and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide health education and counseling.

Requirements :

• Medical license in TX.

Schedule :

• Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with Fridays 8 am - 12 pm (4.5 days/week).
