Job summary

Southeastern Rheumatology Alliance in Watkinsville, GA, is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our rheumatology team. The NP conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, and collaborates with rheumatologists and primary care providers to optimize patient outcomes.

This full-time role requires a Georgia NP license and a Master’s in Nursing, with a collaborative, team-oriented environment and a 4-day work week from Monday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia.
• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with rheumatological symptoms.
• Perform physical examinations and obtain detailed patient histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests and imaging studies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and patient needs.
• Prescribe medications, including DMARDs and biologics, and manage medication therapies.
• Work closely with rheumatologists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards and regulations.
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives and clinical research.
