Job summary

Premier Rheumatology of Oklahoma seeks a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with current certification and back office experience for a bustling Rheumatology clinic. The role includes patient care, injections, scheduling, and covering the triage line, with potential to function as a medical scribe alongside providers during visits.

Front desk experience and NextGen EMR familiarity are a plus. Strong communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with current certification and back office experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience, preferably in Rheumatology.
• Experience with triage phone line, patient calls, and refill requests is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform traditional back-office duties including patient care, injections, and scheduling.
• Cover busy triage phone line and manage patient portal messages.
• Support providers as a medical scribe during patient visits.
• Front desk experience is a plus and familiarity with scheduling workflows.
