Main Responsibilities
  • Engage Rheumatology customers within your assigned geographical territory, delivering clinically focused messages to introduce, launch, grow brand share, and revenue, and to meet product goals.
  • Execute strategies and tactics within accounts in the Rheumatology therapeutic area to generate product utilization.
  • Develop strong relationships with Rheumatology experts, healthcare professionals, nurses, office staff, and patient advocacy groups in your territory.
  • Coordinate with other Rheumatology cross-functional team members, especially Thought Leader Liaisons (TLLs), to ensure account success.
  • Conduct professional, compliant presentations and convey clinical information fluently to healthcare providers, including those in large academic centers and hospitals.
  • Demonstrate deep marketplace, therapeutic, product, and disease expertise based on scientific principles and data, providing key market insights and feedback.
  • Coordinate and communicate with field and home office teams to address customer needs, market trends, and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives.
  • Participate in industry congresses, local and regional meetings, and support sales initiatives.
  • Provide site-level in-service training as needed, including in person, digital, or virtual activities.
  • Plan, organize, and sponsor local promotional activities and speaker programs.
  • Implement strategic plans effectively to maximize territory growth and results.
  • Manage the allocated budget to support business strategies and growth opportunities.
  • Identify key opportunities, develop strategic plans, and drive results within your territory.
  • Establish relationships with key leaders to enhance customer value.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in implementing Sanofi programs and strategies.
  • Allocate resources efficiently based on business opportunities.
  • Train and support the launch of Kevzara for polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) as part of the sales team.
About You

Experience/Skill Preferences:

  • 5+ years of successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience
  • 2+ years of Rheumatology sales experience
  • Proven performance in physician/customer-facing and strategic roles
  • Experience with pull-through and total office calls
  • Launch experience preferred
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments
  • Strong communication and change management skills
  • Business acumen and project management skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% nationwide, including to the home office and meetings
