Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) in Rheumatology for a field-based role to engage Health Care Providers with scientific dialogue and to drive adoption of BMS medicines for appropriate patients. The TAS builds relationships with national and regional thought leaders and supports a differentiated customer experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree; 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales or MSL.
• Ability to communicate scientific data to physicians.
• Strong selling and promotional skills.
• Proven account management and sales track record.
• Experience building relationships with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Promote portfolio within territory to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Organize promotional programs like lunch & learn and speaker programs.
• Create demand by articulating clinical rationale for use of products.
• Maximize AI-based targeting capabilities to define call plans.
• Engage in OMNICHANNEL interactions with customers.
• Maintain scientific expertise across all products and therapeutic areas.
