Job summary

Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) is seeking an entry‑level Clinical Research Coordinator to support the implementation and conduct of clinical research studies within the Division of Rheumatology. You will assist with participant recruitment, scheduling, data collection, and study coordination under supervision.

Under the direction of the PI/Clinical Research Manager, you will maintain study records, assist with meetings and audits, and help ensure compliance with GCP, HIPAA,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to interact with diverse populations.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day clinical research activities per study protocols under supervision.
• Serve as a point of contact for study participants and coordinate visits.
• Assist with data entry and data maintenance, including PHI handling.
• Maintain research records and assist with CRFs, adverse event documentation.
