Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Rheumatologist to join our Worcester, MA team. You will practice in a collegial group with a large referral base, access on-site infusion and imaging, and participate in teaching and optional research.

An academic appointment is possible for interested candidates. We offer CME time, a robust benefits package, relocation assistance, and a path toward physician partnership within Optum.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Rheumatology is required.
• Unlimited licensure in Massachusetts is required.
• Active DEA license is required.
• Experience in a Team Care model preferred.
• Fluency with EMR systems and technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collegial group practice with a large referral base.
• On-site infusion, bone density, MRI (Worcester), and blood draw.
• Call schedule of 1:6.
• Academic appointment opportunities; teaching residents and students.
• Potential for clinical research involvement.

• 5 Rheumatologists
• Excellent established support staff in place
• On site infusion, bone density, MRI (Worcester), and blood draw
• Established and expanding telemedicine
• State of the art Epic EMR system

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $224,000 - $371,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
