Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of Optum, is seeking a Rheumatologist to join our Worcester, MA team. This role offers a collegial group practice with a large referral base and on-site infusion, bone density, MRI, and phlebotomy services.

You will contribute to expanding telemedicine, work with a state-of-the-art Epic EMR system, and have opportunities for academic appointment or teaching. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Rheumatology or equivalent board certification.
• Active unrestricted medical licensure in Massachusetts.
• Active DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Collegial group practice with a large referral base.
• Call schedule: 1:6.
• On-site infusion, bone density, MRI (Worcester), and blood draw.
• Established telemedicine program.
• Academic appointment and teaching opportunities may be available.

Required Qualifications:

• BC/BE in Rheumatology
• Unlimited Licensure in the state of Massachusetts
• Active DEA License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within a Team Care model
• Fluency in EMR systems & technology
• Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $224,000 - $371,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
