Job summary

Kintegra Health in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist to build and lead a new rheumatology service line. This physician will shape clinical operations, patient care delivery, and infusion services to support regional needs.

The role emphasizes autonomy, leadership, and entrepreneurial mindset, with a focus on expanding access to care for underserved communities and coordinating with primary care and specialty colleagues.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Current or eligible North Carolina MD/DO licensure required.
• Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Rheumatology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient rheumatology care.
• Diagnose and manage autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
• Guide development of rheumatology services within the organization.
• Collaborate with primary care and specialty colleagues.
• Contribute to planning and growth of a new infusion center.
• Establish clinical workflows and long-term program goals.
• Supervise and mentor assigned providers and staff.
