Job summary

Community Health Centers of America is hiring a Rheumatologist to join a multi-specialty clinic in Turlock, CA. The role involves diagnosing and treating diseases of the joints, muscles, and bones, with in-office procedures and collaboration with other providers.

In-person work with no evenings or weekends is typical. The candidate should have an MD/DO, completed rheumatology fellowship, CA license or eligibility, and 3-5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school and completion of residency program.
• Completion of an accredited rheumatology fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology.
• Active CA medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in California.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of rheumatic diseases including arthritis, lupus and gout.
• Prescribe and monitor treatments; adjust medications as needed.
• Perform in-office procedures such as joint injections.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging).
• Educate patients and families about self-management.
• Collaborate with primary care and specialists to ensure continuity of care.
