6 Degrees Search is recruiting a Rheumatologist for a full-time position in Munster, IN. The role focuses on autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, with a mix of clinic and infusion services in a premier healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate will be Board Certified (or eligible) in Rheumatology, with Indiana licensure eligibility and a strong team-oriented approach. Competitive MGMA-based compensation is offered, along with comprehensive benefits and flexible time off.

Responsabilités

• Provide diagnostic, treatment, and management for autoimmune and inflammatory disorders.
• Manage a high-volume outpatient clinic focused on chronic disease management.
• Oversee in-office infusion services and biologic therapies.
• Perform joint aspirations and ultrasound-guided injections.
• Educate patients on disease progression, medication safety, and lifestyle modifications.

Rheumatologist

Job Type : Full-time Monday – Friday, 1:3 call rotation
Location: Munster, IN

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized diagnostic, treatment, and management for a full spectrum of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, and vasculitis.
• Manage a high-volume outpatient clinic with a focus on chronic disease management and complex multi-system autoimmune cases.
• Oversee and manage in-office infusion services, including the administration and monitoring of biologic therapies.
• Perform clinical procedures such as joint aspirations, ultrasound-guided injections, and soft tissue injections as part of a comprehensive treatment plan
• Provide patient education regarding long-term disease progression, medication safety, and lifestyle modifications.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Rheumatology, or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other specialists
