Accounting Search is seeking a Rheumatologist for a full-time position in Munster, IN. The role offers a physician-led, tech-forward environment with emphasis on work-life balance and ongoing CME support.

The candidate will diagnose and treat autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, manage infusion services, and participate in ultrasound-guided procedures while educating patients on disease progression and therapy safety.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Rheumatology or board-eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with specialists

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic, treatment, and management for autoimmune/inflammatory disorders including RA, lupus, OA, and vasculitis.
• Manage a high-volume outpatient clinic focusing on chronic disease and complex autoimmune cases.
• Oversee in-office infusion services with biologic therapies.
• Perform joint aspirations, ultrasound-guided injections, and soft tissue injections.
• Educate patients about long-term disease progression, medication safety, and lifestyle modifications.

Job Type : Full-time Monday – Friday, 1:3 call rotation
Location: Munster, IN

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized diagnostic, treatment, and management for a full spectrum of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, and vasculitis.
• Manage a high-volume outpatient clinic with a focus on chronic disease management and complex multi-system autoimmune cases.
• Oversee and manage in-office infusion services, including the administration and monitoring of biologic therapies.
• Perform clinical procedures such as joint aspirations, ultrasound-guided injections, and soft tissue injections as part of a comprehensive treatment plan
• Provide patient education regarding long-term disease progression, medication safety, and lifestyle modifications.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Rheumatology, or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other specialists
