Job summary

Joseph Michaels International is seeking a Board-Certified Rheumatologist to join a premier Northwest Indiana practice in Munster, IN. This full-time, outpatient role offers an opportunity to design your practice around your goals within a tech-forward environment, including in-office infusion services.

You will manage complex autoimmune cases, perform joint procedures, and educate patients, with competitive pay, sign-on bonus, and robust CME and licensure support. H-1B eligibility available.

Qualifications

• Board-certified rheumatologist or board-eligible with plan for certification.
• Indiana license eligibility or unrestricted license and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with other specialists.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostics, treatment, and management for autoimmune and inflammatory disorders (RA, lupus, OA, vasculitis).
• Manage high-volume outpatient clinic focusing on chronic disease and multi-system autoimmune cases.
• Oversee in-office infusion services, monitoring biologic therapies.
• Perform joint aspirations, ultrasound-guided injections, and soft tissue injections.
• Educate patients on disease progression, medications, and lifestyle changes.

Job Type : Full-time Monday – Friday, 1:3 call rotation
Location: Munster, IN

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized diagnostic, treatment, and management for a full spectrum of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, and vasculitis.
• Manage a high-volume outpatient clinic with a focus on chronic disease management and complex multi-system autoimmune cases.
• Oversee and manage in-office infusion services, including the administration and monitoring of biologic therapies.
• Perform clinical procedures such as joint aspirations, ultrasound-guided injections, and soft tissue injections as part of a comprehensive treatment plan
• Provide patient education regarding long-term disease progression, medication safety, and lifestyle modifications.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Rheumatology, or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other specialists
