Job summary

The Rheumatologist at Altru Health will evaluate, diagnose and treat patients at Altru Family Medicine Center in Grand Forks, ND, delivering comprehensive care for injuries and illnesses. You will counsel patients on preventive health measures and exercise professional judgment in line with Altru's policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Doctorate within specified field of medical practice from respective accredited school.
• Must be admissible to sit for either the Canadian or American Board or be certified by the Canadian Board and are members of either the Royal College of Physicians or Royal College of Surgeons, American board certification or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) board certification.
• Board certification in area of specialty must be obtained within six years of employment. Must be granted medical staff appointments at Altru and associated facilities as are necessary to the commission of duties prior to commencement of employment.

Summary

Maintains accurate and timely documentation ensuring quality patient care and assurance of appropriate reimbursements to Altru. Performs other duties as assigned.
