Job summary

A2 Federal in Augusta, GA is seeking a systems engineer to build, secure, and sustain a Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment for the Scalable GEOINT Architecture. Qualifications

Experience building secure RHEL installations per STIG/IAVM guidance.
Experience with automated configuration management (Puppet, Salt, Ansible).
Familiarity with cross-domain transfer processes and PKI-based authentication.

Responsibilities

Create and evolve secure RHEL installations per guides and accreditation authorities.
Implement and maintain automated enterprise configuration management.
Assess and document secure cross-domain transfers and encryption standards.
Provision, install, configure, and manage storage for servers and data shares.
Monitor systems and resolve issues within two hours of occurrence.
Analyze requirements to automate or improve existing systems.
Incorporate security throughout all work with checklists, audits, and change management.
