Our energetic and driven Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team is committed to driving profitable sales growth for Colgate Palmolive in this ever-changing landscape. What role will you play as a member of this team?


As the RGM Business Development Manager you will help improve Colgate Palmolive’s position in the market with quality data analytics to deliver practical insights. This position will help drive improved sales results, market share gains and financial returns. While the role of RGM is broad (encompassing Price, Promotion, Distribution, and Spending optimization) the essence of this job is to help the team advance winning price and promotion plans in partnership with Brand Marketing, Retail Marketing, Customer Development, and our RGM Team. Importantly, this position is a powerful combination of Business Development / support, Analytics & Insights, and in market activation.


The team will look to you to coordinate, and assess data across multiple systems and platforms, identifying insights and opportunities. This role will provide an opportunity to synthesize a variety of complex data points into streamlined and useful presentations. By evaluating historical performance of 5P activities and considering forward thinking trends, you’ll develop insights, communicate useful recommendations, and help track market results to enhance our financial returns.

What you will do:

  • Serve as an integral analytical participant in pricing, promotion, and distribution deep dives using various data resources, across multiple systems, and platforms
  • Advance RGM principles and practice in order to build, and optimize both short term, and long term plans
  • Enable profitable sales growth with price and Promotion optimization analytics and with trade spending assessment to improve profitability
  • Collaborate with key partners within the organization through effective reporting and data sharing, and by providing fact-based insights and quality presentations.
  • Stay current with competitive merchandising strategies, price, promotion and spending levels ensuring Colgate’s pricing plans are competitive
  • Monitor, track, and assess in-market business activity for both Colgate-Palmolive and competitive set

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales / support roles or adjacent experiences (preferably Category Management, Analytics, Sales Support, etc)
  • Experience working with a syndicated service (Nielsen, IRI) account

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in consumer product goods industry

Salary Range $88,800 - $131,250 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
