Job summary

PEAK Technical Services Inc. in Erie, PA seeks a Sourcing Program Support Specialist to coordinate RFQ activities and support the manufacturing team. You will track requests, enter purchase orders into the ERP, and monitor supplier development against schedules.

You will work with suppliers to expedite PPAP steps, maintain cost data, and prepare weekly program metrics. Strong Excel skills and the ability to read drawings are preferred; cross-functional project experience will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications is desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables).
• Previous experience working on a project team with exposure to project scheduling and cross-functional interactions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively work with a variety of suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track RFQ activities.
• Work with suppliers to ensure purchase order promises are input into the ERP system.
• Monitor supplier development schedules, proactively highlighting risks and identifying potential impacts on delivery schedules.
• Execute PPAP and expedite supplier qualification process steps with appropriate functions as necessary.
• Interface with the manufacturing team to support the first build.
• Maintain product cost information and provide analysis and summaries as required.
• Gather and maintain data related to overall program metrics, providing summaries and preparing weekly updates as needed.
