Qualifications

• Open to practicing visual artists based in the United States.
• Experience in 2-D art and/or sculpture.
• Black artists with a connection to South LA encouraged to apply.
• Public art experience not required; mentoring available for emerging artists.
• Candidates may not submit more than one application or lead artist on multiple submissions.
• Artists must be over 21 and U.S. residents eligible to work.

Responsibilities

• Shortlist roster artists to develop proposals for public art opportunities.
• Collaborate with LA Commons to realize designs through storytelling and community empowerment.
