Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an RFIC Engineer for the AI Satellites program (Starmind) to design high‑reliability RF front‑end hardware for space and ground infrastructure. You will work with cross‑disciplinary teams to advance next‑gen RFICs enabling orbital AI inference.

Responsibilities include RF/microwave circuit design, system simulation, and rigorous testing of prototypes, with opportunities to shape the performance of Starlink‑based networks and international missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of RF/microwave circuit design experience.

Responsibilities

• Simulate RF front-end systems with system architects and ASIC engineers.
• Derive RF HW specifications for RF systems and RF blocks.
• Develop RF/microwave circuits, MMICs, boards and packages.
• Evaluate and characterize prototypes and RF components.
• Characterize and analyze full radio performance.
• Assist in developing automated test equipment for lab measurements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing on production testing of RF avionics components.
