Job summary

Sivers Wireless is expanding its RFIC Design Engineering team and seeks an innovative engineer to develop RFIC transceivers. You will design subsystems such as LNAs, PAs, mixers, PLLs, and LO generation, taking designs from schematic to layout with industry-standard EDA tools.

You will work on sub-micron CMOS and BiCMOS designs, participate in bring-up, calibration, and production test, and collaborate with engineers at Gothenburg and Kista labs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in designing RF transceivers and subsystems.
  • Familiarity with CMOS/BiCMOS processes and validation methods.
  • Proficiency with EDA tools for schematic-to-layout flows.

  • Support integration of RFICs into antenna modules.
  • Collaborate with RFIC Design Engineers located in Gothenburg and Kista, with labs at both locations.

Job description

We are expanding and looking for a talented engineer to join our RFIC Design Engineering team within Sivers Wireless. If you are innovative and passionate about developing RFIC transceivers, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Design subsystems such as LNAs, PAs, mixers, PLLs, LO generation, baseband filters, ADCs, DACs, or other analog blocks.
  • Take your design from schematic to layout and verification, using our capable EDA tools from Cadence, Keysight, ANSYS, and Mentor Graphics.
  • Work on sub-micron CMOS design and/or BiCMOS designs.
  • Define and participate in bring-up and validations of our products.
  • Support production test.
  • Support integration of RFICs into our antenna modules.
  • You will work in a group of experienced RFIC Design Engineers located in Gothenburg and Kista, supported by well-equipped labs at both locations.
What We're Looking For
  • o Wireless systems fundamentals, e.g., Wi-Fi, WiGig, 3GPP.
  • o Architecture and design of RF transceivers.
  • o Subsystem design of LNAs, PAs, mixers, PLLs, LO generation, baseband filters, ADCs, or DACs.
  • o Analog design fundamentals, e.g., op-amps, LDOs, oscillators.
  • o Mixed-signal design and verification.
  • o Bring-up and validation of RFIC transceivers, including calibration methods.
  • o Driving chips into volume production.
  • o Solid understanding of CMOS processes and device physics.
  • o Experience with Keysight RF software (e.g., EM simulation) is considered a merit.
  • We are seeking an innovative engineer with a strong passion for RFIC design, whether you bring relevant industry experience, academic expertise, or both.
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso and related EDA tools.
