Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing operations in Richardson, TX. This role focuses on capacity modeling, data analysis, and process planning to drive performance improvements across multiple teams.

You will lead analysis to identify output, cycle time, and tooling requirements, automate data extraction, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and planning groups to implement new methods and flows.

• Leverage operational data to identify performance trends, propose leading indicators, and provide predictive information to support execution decisions.
• Analyze complex operational challenges involving multiple stakeholders, driving towards optimal solutions in a complex and dynamic manufacturing environment
• Identify operational gaps, lead problem formulation, determine root cause, and implement creative and effective solutions
• Automating data extraction and manufacturing processes
• Determining starts and mixes that we can support for the current time period and for the future look-ahead based on our capacity, constraints, available tools, tool performance and future process releases scheduled in our factory
• Providing a list of short-term and long-term focused toolsets for the modules to work on
• Identifying opportunities to improve cycle time and increase our capacity models' ability to support operational decision making
• Performing equipment loading studies and determining methods for flow linearization and reduction in variation
• Interfacing with engineering, manufacturing, and planning/coordinating the release of new methods, flows, and processes
• Estimating manufacturing cost, determining time standards, and making recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing process flows
