Job summary

Texas Instruments (TI) is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing operations in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with exposure to state-of-the-art applications each day.

You will perform large manufacturing data queries, lead line and operational performance analysis, drive continuous improvement for fab equipment and processes, and support capital investments with capacity and cost analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research or related field.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• Ability to work in clean room environment wearing smock.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Large manufacturing data query writing and wrangling for actionable insight from complex datasets.
• Lead line and operational performance analysis to identify output and cycle time improvement opportunities.
• Take ownership of continuous improvement opportunities for fab equipment and processes.
• Performing capacity analysis, cost analysis and operational “what-if” analysis to support capital investment and operational decision making.
• Provide logistical support for capital investment projects in the fab, including project scheduling, purchase order management, and factory layout planning.
