Innova Solutions, Salt Lake City, UT, is hiring an RF/Wireless Engineer for contract work spanning civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering. The role centers on RF architectures, high-frequency hardware, and cross-team collaboration to meet performance and manufacturability targets.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of RF design experience, hands-on lab skills, and familiarity with Cadence AWR, PathWave RF Synthesis, and Mentor Graphics.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of RF experience, or MS with 2+ years.
• Hands-on with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, receivers, signal generators, amplifiers, antennas, power meters.
• Strong RF/microwave theory and electromagnetics foundations.
• Experience designing RF products from UHF through E-band.
• Ability to work across systems, mechanical, and software teams.

Responsibilities

• Support RF architectures and hardware designs for communication systems.
• Perform RF/analog design, modeling, simulation, and verification of high-frequency hardware.
• Conduct circuit card and subsystem development activities including design reviews and testing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet performance and manufacturability goals.
• Prepare technical presentations and deliverables for leadership teams.
