Job summary

Shorr Packaging Corp. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Warehouse Operator to move, locate, stack, and count product using powered equipment to support our customers with custom packaging solutions.

Responsibilities include filling orders, preparing shipping documents, moving inventory from receiving to storage, recording quantities, and maintaining equipment. 1–3 years of related experience and RF scanning/WMS familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years related experience as a warehouse operator or equivalent.
• RF Scanners and WMS experience preferred.
• Proficient reading and writing, and ability to follow directions.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Prepare proper shipping documents.
• Move inventory from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Maintain warehouse equipment.
• Assist with receiving, put away, shipping, and assembly as needed.
• Keep warehouse area clean including sweeping floors and picking up loose materials.
• Other duties as requested.
