Job summary

Shorr Packaging Corp. is seeking a warehouse operator to accurately pick and prepare orders, handle shipping documentation, and move inventory across receiving and storage areas. You will work with RF scanners and a WMS to record quantities and ensure proper handling.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of related warehouse experience, reading/writing skills, and may hold forklift certification. This is an on-site role in Illinois with a base hourly pay range and ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related experience or training as a warehouse operator required.
• RF scanners and WMS experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Proficient reading and writing skills and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Prepare proper shipping documents.
• Move inventory from receiving/production to storage or to other designated areas.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Open pallets, crates, and other containers.
• Maintain warehouse equipment.
• Assist with receiving, put away, shipping, and assembly.
• Keep warehouse area clean and free of loose materials.
• Perform other duties as requested.
