Job summary

Dexter is seeking a Warehouse Worker to perform a variety of distribution tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will use an RF/RFI gun to scan, track, and verify product movement, and you will pick, pack, and stage orders according to company standards.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and operate warehouse equipment. A detail-oriented, safety-focused mindset is essential, with opportunities for growth and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience using an RF scanner/RFI gun strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer or WMS system familiarity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Use an RF/RFI gun to scan, track, and verify product movement throughout the warehouse.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders according to company standards.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Ensure correct labeling, documentation, and scanning of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Unload, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by staging, palletizing, wrapping, and labeling products.
• Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, or other warehouse equipment as required.
• Organize stock in assigned warehouse locations, ensuring clean and efficient workspace flow.
• Replenish pick locations as necessary based on production and shipping needs.
• Follow all warehouse safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
• Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Fast-paced distribution setting with frequent physical activity.
• Exposure to warehouse conditions including temperature variations, noise, and walking surfaces.
• May require overtime, weekend work, or shift flexibility.
