Job summary

Ridgecorp is seeking a Material Handler to support the manufacturing plant with material handling and warehouse duties. The role requires experience handling all types of material, staging for production lines, and working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay up to $19.25/hr with a 10% shift differential bringing pay to about $21.18/hr. Requires forklift certification and on-the-job training within 90 days; benefits after 30 days and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Two months job related experience required, including operating Material Handling equipment.
• Warehouse management systems experience preferred with ability to perform RF functions.
• Forklift operation certification required. Must be acquired on the job within 90 days.
• Knowledge of company safety, OSHA and department policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Uses RF and a variety of material handling equipment to stock receipt of manufactured and purchased products.
• Unloads, loads, and stages purchased product and manufactured product receipts.
• Replenishes machine centers using material handling equipment and RF.
• Operates material handling equipment with appropriate certification.
• Load and unload material from pallet racking.
• Uses RF equipment to process and validate receipt of product for inventory accuracy.
• Follows safety and department policies and 5S methodology.
• Maintains neat and clean work environment.
• Makes recommendations to continually improve processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
