Job summary

Midwest Veterinary Supply, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Associate I for second shift (Mon 11am-7pm, Tue-Fri 1pm-9:30pm) to move goods safely and efficiently within the distribution center. Responsibilities include picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control with RF scanning and labeling duties.

The role requires basic computer skills, English proficiency, and attention to detail. Prior warehouse experience and forklift certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
• 3+ months of warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Basic computer skills; Windows-based computer experience preferred.
• Able to work well with others and independently.
• Self-motivated with problem-solving ability.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Use RF scanner to pick inventory for customer orders.
• Move completed orders and carts to the next processing area.
• Inspect inventory and alert supervisor of issues.
• Verify items with RF scanner before shipping.
• Apply packaging to minimize damage during transit.
• Validate lot numbers, quantities, and product attributes for each order.
• Print and apply shipping labels; move packages to carrier staging area.
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
