Job summary

Midwest Veterinary Supply, Inc. in Norristown, PA is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient movement of goods within our distribution center.

You will perform order pulling, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and housekeeping, using RF scanners and forklifts as needed. The role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently or in a team, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• 3 months of similar warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; basic safety and operating documents comprehension.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate an RF scanner to pick inventory for customer orders.
• Move orders and carts to appropriate areas for processing.
• Inspect inventory and alert supervision to potential issues.
• Scan and verify items before shipping; apply proper packaging for transport.
• Verify lot numbers, quantities, dosages, strengths, sizes and other attributes.
• Print shipping labels and move packages to carrier staging areas.
• Receive inventory from POs/ASNs and perform put-aways.
• Contribute to inventory counts, replenishments, and bin organization.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and obstruction-free work area.
