Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient movement of goods in the distribution center. Responsibilities include picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
• A minimum of 3 months of similar work experience in a warehouse/distribution environment is preferred.
• Forklift certified or ability to become forklift certified preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employment policies, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate an RF scanner to pick inventory for customer orders.
• Move orders and carts to the next processing area.
• Inspect inventory and alert supervisor of potential issues.
• Verify items with RF scanner before shipping.
• Apply appropriate packaging to prevent damage in transit.
• Print and apply shipping labels to packages.
• Move prepared packages to carrier staging area.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment.
• Contribute to inventory counts and replenishments.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
