Job summary

TagoreTech, Inc. in Arlington Heights, IL, seeks an RF Validation and Test Engineer to support testing, characterization, and optimization of high-power RF switches, PAs, and LNAs.

You will develop test programs, automate validation campaigns, and present data to engineering leadership. The ideal candidate has hands-on RF measurement experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment while collaborating with design and applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 3+ years of RF component/system testing and automation experience.
• Strong RF theory and practice knowledge (transmission line theory, impedance matching, noise figure).
• Proficiency in test automation tools (LabView/TestStand, MATLAB, VBA, Python, SCPI).
• Experience with system design principles and creating detailed schematics.
• Experience with high-power RF components (PAs, LNAs, RF Switches) a plus.
• Knowledge of wireless systems (5G/4G, Radar, LMR/PMR, Tactical radios, Drone comms).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design test automation protocols to optimize test systems and data collection.
• Create custom test bench systems to characterize and optimize products.
• Utilize RF testing equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, scopes).
• Execute spec-compliance test campaigns to meet data sheets and customer expectations.
• Manage and present product test data to engineering and leadership teams.
• Support product validation across the full product lifecycle.
