Job summary

Woodlandsmed is seeking an RF Test Technician in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The role builds, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs complex electronic and RF systems in a production setting.

You will diagnose RF circuitry (UHF, L-Band, S-Band, C-Band) using advanced test equipment to ensure performance and support production and engineering needs. The position requires strong hands-on skills with PCBs, schematics, and test stations, plus the ability to work overtime and lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a test technician.
• Working knowledge of digital and RF electronic circuit operation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, work instructions, and component identifications.
• Proven proficiency with advanced test equipment and safe operation practices.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, troubleshoot, and repair complex electronic and RF systems and sub-assemblies.
• Troubleshoot digital and RF circuitry (UHF, L-Band, S-Band, C-Band) to component level on PCBs.
• Use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, power meters, and multimeters.
• Diagnose test failures and coordinate corrective actions to meet production schedules.
• Collaborate with assembly and engineering to develop test procedures and policies.
