RF Test Technician I – PCB Diagnostics & QA

Job summary

NEOTech is seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Test Technician to read schematics, inspect production PCBs, and perform functional and boundary-scan tests. The role requires RF experience and the ability to interpret MSAs, with responsibility for yielding data, reporting, and process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has an AA/AS in Electronic Technology or equivalent experience, strong troubleshooting skills down to component level, and familiarity

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work on single task with detailed instructions.
• Ability to support 1-2 product lines / customers.
• Experience operating test equipment such as HP 3070 or Genrad.
• Able to troubleshoot electronic circuits down to component level.
• Prefer experience with amplifiers and attenuators.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ESD requirements and Board Handling procedures.
• Identify faulted components or manufacturing defects on production PCBs and submit for re-work.
• Read, interpret, and react to schematics for troubleshooting.
• Test PCBs including functional and boundary scan tests.
• Must have RF experience.
• Run software backups, diagnostics and preventive maintenance on tester control computers.
• Support operator training and certification program.
• Support test engineering development projects as required.
• Participate in test process improvements and safety.
• Create test reports describing test results and findings.
• Interface with cross-functional departments and customers.
• Track yield/troubleshooting details with Clarity for tested assemblies.
• Comply with NEOTech standards and ISO procedures related to Quality Mgmt Systems.
• Train production test-debug technicians as requested.
• Support 6S objectives.
• Perform other duties, overtime and occasional Saturdays.
