Job summary

RTX is seeking an RF Test Systems Engineer II for an onsite role in McKinney, TX to support STaRS Test Automation. You will troubleshoot test equipment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy production test solutions for RF modules and related subassemblies.

The position requires a STEM degree with 2+ years in test engineering, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Relocation is eligible and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM and at least 2 years in test engineering.
• Experience with Automation Test Equipment/Unit Under Test (ATE/UUT) in production.
• Experience with hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance in manufacturing.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required after day one.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time RF Test Systems Engineer II located onsite in McKinney, TX supporting Surveillance & Tactical Radar Solutions (STaRS) Test Automation.

The Test Automation Department (TAD) is responsible for the design and development of test equipment, hardware and software for a wide range of products and customers.

The STaRS Test Automation section within TAD is a growing and highly motivated team who consistently provides quality on-time on-cost solutions to support external and internal customers seeking innovative and economical solutions for their product lines. The section also supports change incorporation and obsolescence redesign efforts of various legacy systems in direct support of production capabilities.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Typically requires minimum of 1 year experience with emphasis in Automation Test Equipment/Unit Under Test (ATE/UUT) Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering experience
• Requires experience in both hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and/or maintenance activities within production/manufacturing/product qualification environments
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required after day one
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with RF technology across Communications and Radar systems
• Experience with test software such as MATLAB, Test Stand, Test Executive, etc.
• Experience interpreting schematics, block diagrams, and requirements documents
• Experience communicating with the ability to present test findings clearly to engineering and leadership

• The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD
