Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Troy, AL is seeking an experienced Radio Frequency Test Engineer (Missile Assembly) for the Weekend Shift to perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting of RF systems in a production environment.

You will operate spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers and other RF equipment, read engineering drawings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve test processes while supporting U.S. security requirements and obtaining an active DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of RF-related project experience (military or commercial).
• Advanced experience with RF test equipment: spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF power meters.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications and schematics.
• Strong hands-on assembly/disassembly and troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining a DoD Secret clearance ( Interim clearance supported ).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve RF missile hardware and test equipment.
• Develop and implement production RF test procedures to meet engineering and government standards.
• Perform RF sub-assembly and full missile tests in production, analyze results and identify root causes.
• Occasionally assemble/disassemble missile hardware during development and production.
