Job summary

Gilat Satellite Networks in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced RF Test Engineer II to design and implement RF test setups, fixtures, and automated testing processes. You will troubleshoot, improve test configurations, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support production of power amplifiers.

The role requires hands-on RF testing experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment. Salary range listed: $75,000–$100,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of RF test engineering experience.
• Experience with RF measurements (S-parameters, IMD, ACPR) and DO-160 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design and build RF test bench setups and fixtures for manual and automated testing.
• Maintain and improve test configurations for fast-paced design and production of power amplifiers.
• Lead and support Design Verification Testing activities with engineers and review teams.
• Write code, fix bugs, and optimize test programs with team collaboration.
• Support Operations teams with testing and troubleshooting as needed.
• Research and design processes for RF component/system testing and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate to analyze specs and performance requirements and implement test configurations.
• Create and manage documentation for Design Verification, Factory Acceptance, Qualification, and FunctionalTesting.
