Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. in Greensboro, NC seeks a Characterization Engineer to develop test plans for mobile cellular RF products and to evaluate electrical performance from RF tests.

You will work with RF test equipment (VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator), analyze RF data, review results with the Product Design Team, and help design test scripts and data processing workflows, and contribute to hardware/software test needs.

Hybrid work permitted: 3 days in the office and up to 2 days from home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and related RF test experience (internship or 6 credit hours)
• Ability to analyze RF test data and present to a technical audience (Product Design Team)
• Familiarity with RF test equipment and basic analog/digital electronics

Responsibilities

• Generate test plans for Mobile Cellular RF products.
• Evaluate electrical performance from tests using RF test equipment (VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator).
• Review performance reports with product design teams and assess hardware/software test needs.
• Generate scripts/algorithms for processing RF test data.
