Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks an Electronics Engineer – Manufacturing Test Engineering (RF Systems) in Rolling Meadows, IL. You will support RF production test hardware, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and help drive testability and reliability in manufactured equipment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related STEM with 2+ years experience; or MS with 0+ years.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and test issues.
• Experience with schematic generation such as Cadence.
• Hardware projects involving design/development and integration/validation on schedule and budget.

Responsibilities

• Test station hardware efforts for RF production hardware in a fast-paced environment.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Project Management, and Quality to support nonconformance systems.
• Investigate and design solutions to meet new or modified testing requirements.
• Maintain/testing procedures and hardware drawings of test fixtures and equipment.
• Review quality metrics and drive continuous improvement to reduce cost and defects.
• Collaborate with design engineering to improve testability in new designs.
• Interface with leadership, clients, and vendors.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related STEM field

Master of Science in equivalent fields (optional)
