Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer for RF Systems, onsite in Rolling Meadows, IL. The role focuses on process development, documentation, and cross-functional support across design, production and quality teams.

You will contribute to producibility and improvements for RF system assemblies and payload integration. Required: a STEM degree with relevant experience, ability to interpret drawings, and DoD clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or Master's) with related experience in manufacturing processes.
• Experience interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Experience creating process instructions and improving manufacturing processes.
• United States citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Process Development/Maintenance: create and revise manufacturing process specs, routers, tooling, and equipment.
• Production support: coordinate with engineering, production, PM, and quality to meet commitments and solve nonconformances.
• Continuous improvement: review quality metrics and drive cost, cycle time, and defect reductions.
• Producibility reviews: work with design to improve producibility in new/updated products.
• Interface with leadership, clients, and vendors at multiple levels.
