Job summary

STR is seeking a System Integration & Test Engineer to support integration and test of advanced multi-function RF systems in Woburn, MA. You will design and develop test software, verify performance, and work with domain experts to ensure interfaces meet requirements in SIL and field tests.

Ideal candidates have a BS in a technical field with at least 2 years of experience, proficiency in MATLAB/Python/C++, Linux, and Agile toolchains, and must be eligible for DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field with a minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience performing subsystem and system-level integration and test of firmware, software and/or hardware.
• Familiarity with containerized software.
• Proficient in MATLAB, Python, or C++.
• Experience developing in Linux environments (Ubuntu and RHEL).
• Familiarity with Agile Systems Engineering using Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Gitlab.
• Willingness to travel for off-site test activities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test software with domain experts, development teams, and systems engineers.
• Develop scripts and procedures to verify RF processing algorithms.
• Capture and communicate test results and metrics internally with development teams.
• Assist in preparing and delivering briefings, familiarity with SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TIMS, TRRs.
• Perform subsystem and system-level integration test of firmware, software and/or hardware components and assemblies.
